codE + tech is a youth exchange project which is financed by the EU and Turkish National Agency. The name of our project has been created from the combination of coding and technology. Project; It will be held in İstanbul, Turley on 18-27 / 05 / 2022, with the participation of 32 young people from Ireland, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Georgia, Norway, and Turkey, in order to measure and improve the knowledge of participants on coding, to create digitalization/techno awareness among young people through non-formal training methods.
Although young people can comprehend technological developments better than adult people, they cannot exhibit attitudes that can develop these innovations more with the effects of various disadvantageous situations (prejudice against science in the society, stereotypes such as you cannot do, you cannot improve). In the surveys and researches we have done; Young people follow technological developments closely, they can easily access tools, but they do not have the knowledge and self-confidence to present them to us. On the other hand, the growth in the technology and software labor market provides an opportunity for employability in this area. We want to do this project to increase the adaptation of individuals who want to improve themselves in the field of technology and software by evaluating the demands of business markets.
The main and other activities of our project will be learning coding practices using non-formal education models.
After the project, the results are expected to be as follows;
• Creation of a more self-confident audience in using technology and improving it.
• The development of cultural diversity in various environments.
• Participants and different institutions to initiate technology projects.

Project Objectives
• To find out the cultural differences and learn EU values.
• To increase the capacity of young people to volunteer and work in clubs of universities such as software/mechatronics, and organizations such as the T3 Foundation with national/international dimensions.
• codE+book and Damla APP usage by 100 people within 1 month.
• Talking about software projects in Europe thanks to local activities.
• Young people; To be able to look at technological developments from a futuristic approach, to create a logical framework.
• To identify the special needs of young people on the subject.
• Too young people with main activities; To acquire basic equipment and information such as electronic circuits, coding, principles of flight, artificial intelligence, and to pave the way for smart, environmentally friendly projects/initiatives that they can create.
• To provide a logical approach to technological developments, to identify the special needs of young people on the subject, to measure and improve their knowledge.
• 10,000 views of Drone Fest video on Youtube.

Survey results & Need Analysis
Projemizin ihtiyaçlarını daha net belirlemek ve veri zenginliğini arttırmak amacıyla sosyal medya vasıtasıyla genç insanlar üzerinde teknolojik gelişmelerin etkisini araştırdık.
Araştırmamızın sonucuna göre,

Genç insanlar, teknolojik araç ve gereçlere kolaylıkla ulaşım sağlayabiliyor, bu alandaki gelişmeleri takip etmeye çalışıyor fakat teknolojiyi bize sağlayan altyapısal özelliklere & teknik bilimlere ulaşımında ve öğreniminde sorunlar açığa çıkmakta. Bu noktada gençlerin teknolojiye karşı ilk olarak ön yargının kırılması ardından fırsatları kendileri için yaratmasında fayda görmekteyiz. İhtiyacımız bu noktada belirmektedir.
